Seeking Turpentine Seeds
As well as the removal of trees as a necessary part of the construction of the Berry bypass, contractors Fulton Hogan are getting prepared for some future tree planting.
Lyn Clark has asked for as many seeds as possible from Turpentine trees growing within a 20kms radius of Berry.
If you have a Turpentine tree, or know of one nearby, the community of Berry would be delighted if you could help with this project.
All you need to do is to collect some unopened seed pods, place them in a paper bag and contact Lyn on 4464 3911.
The seeds will be taken to the propagating unit at Berry Public School for planting and ongoing tender loving care.
