Garden Club goes to School

The Berry & District Garden Club’s monthly garden visit for June will be to the Berry Public School Nursery.

For the past 25 years, keen volunteers have been working with Berry school children to teach them the basic skills of local plant identification and propagation.  The students gain an appreciation of the biodiversity of the Berry area, practise teamwork and enjoy providing plants for community use.

Garden Club members are asked to meet on Wednesday 17 June in the school parking area in Clarence Street by 10am to sign a visitors form.

If you feel like some chatter and a friendly catch-up, bring your morning tea and a chair to Mark Radium Park on the corner of Victoria Street and Princes Highway afterwards.
