Tips and News
At the next meeting of the Berry & District Garden Club on Tuesday 16 June, Lesley McKinnon will be speaking about the history of an Australian garden style using indigenous plants.
Lesley is garden designer and horticultural consultant who has worked across many areas in the industry. She is particularly known for her role as Horticultural Supervisor at the Homebush Olympic Site and the work she has done with Sydney’s Hyde Park.
Many of us have a mix of plants in our gardens – exotics and indigenous – so it will be interesting to hear Lesley’s presentation. She is sure to inspire our gardening endeavours and Lesley will also be happy to answer any questions.
Come along at 7.30pm for Lesley’s presentation and then join us for supper at St Luke’s Church Hall in Princess Street, Berry.
